Lessons in Swiss schools

Many kind of bagpipe are presented and played. Starting from this latter we analyze the operation of instrument discovering the essential parts that compose it. Reconstruction of the history of the instrument and its diffusion in Europe. If classes are not too big, there is the possibility to try to play it.

Duet Magetti-Garbani

Il duo è composto da Ivo Maggetti e Ilario Garbani che suonano musica ticinese:
fisarmonica, flauti e piva.
Grande attenzione viene data a brani cantati, tradizionali e non.

Bagpipes students

Fondata nel 2001 da Ilario Garbani quale espressione della sua Scuola di Cornamuse, un gruppo musicale a carattere amatoriale composto da una decina dei migliori allievi della scuola, spesso accompagnati da alcuni amici e dallo stesso Ilario.

Gli allievi suonano principalmente il baghèt o la piva ticinese.
